Frequently Asked Questions

How will I be able to access the new home banking web site? Is there a new web site address?

You will access the new home banking web site the same way you do now, by going to auburnfcu.com. At the top of our home page the login box is where you will enter your Login ID and you will be directed to the new home banking site from there. This should be the same way you are accessing our home banking site on the web today.

Will members need to download the new app, or will the app automatically update if members have their phone set to automatically retrieve updates for new apps when they are available?

If your device does not automatically download updates, be sure to go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to update to the latest version after 5/17/22.

Will members need to change their Login ID when the new Home Banking system goes live on 5/17/22?

No. The only reason a member would need to change their Login ID is if they are currently using their member number as their Login ID. Members cannot use their member number as their Login ID on the updated system.

Will members need to change their passwords when the new Home Banking system goes live on 5/17/22?

If your password is less than 8 characters, you will need to change your password. If your password is not considered a strong password, you may be prompted to change your password, even if it contains 8 characters. Your password should be at least 8 characters and should include an uppercase, lowercase, number and special character (ex. !, @, #, $, %). The first time you log in to the updated Home Banking system, you will be prompted to change your password if it is less than 8 characters and/or is not strong based on the information above. This requirement is in place to help keep your account information more secure.

Will members need to enter their challenge question answers when they log in to the new home banking site?

The first time you log in to the new site, you may be prompted to enter your answer(s) to your challenge questions. If for some reason you do not remember those answers, please contact the credit union by calling 315-253-2934, option 3 and we will be able to assist you.

Will there be any changes to Online Bill Pay?

Online Bill Pay will function as it does today. You will still access Online Bill Pay by clicking on the Bill Pay link at the top of the home banking web page.
